Experience shows, that once you found and sufficiently listened to your first need, other needs want to be found and heard too. On the backside of each card we give suggestions of needs that may be connected to your first need.

Where do your eyes take you? Which words create a (strong) physical or emotional reaction? If possible, let somebody read the words out loud. Which words make you sigh? Which words lead to relaxation and which to more stress? With 'attracts your attention' we mean: Listen to the impulses from your body. It's been our experience that this increases the chance, that you find what wants to be heard.
Underlined words are words on cards in the 'Deck of Needs' or a 'Strategy Card'. The colour of the line matches the colour of that card. When you have a Deck of Needs, you can take all the matching cards and put them on the floor or table in front of you. Order the cards based on the strength of your reaction. Which card evokes the strongest emotional and/or physical reactions?
When you found a word that wants to be heard, you can compare your first and second word. An example can be found on the next page.
